How to add Speaker Notes in PowerPoint

As you put text on your slides, type your speaker notes (if you want any) in the notes pane, below the slide.
As the picture shows, you can enlarge the notes pane so that it's easier to work in. Your notes are saved in a notes page, which you can print before the show. You'll see how to view and edit the notes page in the practice session.
Suggestion Use notes to embellish or elaborate on the points on the slide. This helps you keep from overloading the slide, and your audience, with text.
Warning and tip If your notes exceed the space on the notes page, they will get cut off when you print. To prevent this, you can either:
Change the layout of the notes page.
Or:
Send the presentation to Microsoft Word before printing.
Both these methods are detailed in the Quick Reference Card.

Settings Check - Outlook Express

Settings Check - Outlook Express

Folks, here are some things that will help you maneuver a bit easier in Outlook Express.

HTML - this ensures you can see graphics and makes your pastes line up a bit better.

Check your settings:

Tools
Options
Send

At the bottom there are two boxes...make sure HTML is checked for each of them.

Organizing your messages

Messages in your room can be sorted by date or person sent (among others).

Here’s what I find easiest to maneuver:

View
Current View
View all messages
Group Messages by conversation

On the top of the area where the messages are listed, you can select the sort criteria by clicking on the grey bar.

I choose sent (it adds a little arrow in the box). Then, my messages are in order of when they arrived. (clicking it a second time will change whether they are earliest or most recent on top).

Replies

Outlook Express

Reply Group – this means you are replying to a message within the Newsgroup.
Reply – You are replying to the individual’s Newsgroup…Do not use

This Jumps way Beyond Beginners Technology

This Jumps way Beyond Beginners Technology

But I promised to re-post it: The research in the area of Sub-Atomic Particles Physics has a high probability of bringing about a new technology in communication. You may want to see this “Introductory presentation on Quantum Information” which explains some of the ideas I am talking about. I will keep it brief as possible: The research in this area shows a high probability of producing real time communication capabilities that are not affected by spatial barriers. That means you could be on one side of the galaxy and me on the other and we could talk to each other as if we were right next to each other. Well they have not perfected the technology but they have observed the phenomenon in controlled experiments.
