What is a URL?

What is a URL?

A URL or Uniform Resource Locator is the complete location of an internet item you may want to receive. It is an absolute reference. It is synonymous with the internet terms location, and internet address. Each web page has a unique URL. You can instantly view a web page if you know it's URL.
